....HELLO WINTER!

Now don't get me wrong, I am not a fashion expert AT ALL. The only thing that I know is that I love spending money, and I love spending money on clothes! And then I wonder where my wages have disappeared to...oops!

As it's London Fashion Week, I thought I'd share with you a few of my new winter wardrobe purchases which I have fallen in love with!

Last week I treated myself to some Chelsea boots from Topshop which I have had my eye on for ages! Everytime I see something I love on Topshop's website it seems to get out of stock quicker than I have time to buy it, and I was not going to let that happen this time!
These Chelsea boots will be absolutely perfect to wear with thick black tights, together with skirts and dresses. This is why I am excited for winter!

Another reason why I am excited for Winter, but particularly for snow, is because of my gorgeous new HUNTER WELLIES!!!! I wanted some for my birthday, but at Chatsworth Country Fair I spotted some which were perfect for me and I couldn't resist! I got the Green Original Tour wellies, not only will these be perfect for Winter, but also for the Festival Season next year! All I can say is Glastonbury 2014 here I come!

You can't have a good pair of wellies without a good pair of welly socks. I've been looking for some 'Hunter Welly Socks', however I saw some gorgeous burgundy knee high welly socks in Matalan, and they were a bargin at £3! The colour will also go gorgeously with my green wellies.

Every oufit needs some accesories, and I've gone a bit mad on the necklace front this year. Firstly I treated myself to a gorgeous gold, chunky chain at £8 from River Island. But as I was ordering my Chelsea boots, I just happened to find myself at the jewellery section on Topshop's website (honestly, I have no idea how I got there!), and I found this lovely little gold heart chain, with a crystal shaped 'L' for Lucy!

Midi rings are also my love for this season, I can't wait to treat myself to loads of different ones, when I next get paid that is!

Matalan is brilliant if you look hard enough, and I will be wearing everything this year with my green parka from Matalan that will be keeping me snuggly and warm this Winter.

So winter is officialy on it's way! If you have any fashion tips, or just anything else you want to talk about then pretty please just comment below!:-)

Bye bye Summer.....

I can't believe that Summer is actually over! I know all good things come to an end, but I really wish that this good thing was an exception. I've had a really busy, but at the same time amazing Summer, I mean how can you not have an amazing time when school isn't involved?!

After arriving back in sunny England, I had lots of plans of what I wanted to do, see and experience this Summer. I'm a bit obsessed with making lists, and I was determined to tick everything off! I think I've done quite well though, so if I've got to go back to school at least I'm going back happy:))))))))))))))))))))))))))).

Quite a bit of my Summer has been spent working but I don't mind that so much as I love my job and obviously the money is a huge incentive too!

One of the not so good things about this Summer was getting my AS results, but then I went to a party that evening so it wasn't all bad! The good things about being a girl is that you can swap all your clothes with your best friends, so we all have a never ending wardrobe!

I met my friend Bethany and her new baby girl this Summer. Her name is Amy Maria MJ and she was born at the end of July, she is such a pretty little thing!

Proably my favourite thing which I did this Summer was going to the best city in the world, London! My guilty pleasure is reality TV programmes, and I absolutely love, love, love Made In Chelsea! So Hannah, Lauren and I paid a visit to the one and only Chelsea after we had a nosy around M&M World in Leicester Square, however we had to get out before we bought anything as it was all too tempting!

I was so excited to be in Chelsea! We got off the tube at South Kensington and made our way down to Kings Road. The sun was shining and we had dinner at Bluebird's Cafe. It was so strange to be eating somewhere that I had seen the cast of Made In Chelsea go to so many times! Whilst there, we saw former MIC star and heiress to Topshop Chloe Green!

No Summer is complete without a good old trip to the seaside! I went to Bridlington with my family, and obviously, you can't go to the seaside without having fish and chips followed by ice cream. My cousin Leah and I always have an absolute laugh wherever we go, but it just went too far during this day out. We went on the Waltzer and this other ride all in the space of about 10 minutes and I have never felt so sick in my life, I was literally WHITE. It was horrible. To top it off, I couldn't remeber where we'd parked the car so me and Leah were stranded in the middle of Bridlington for nearly half an hour, only me!

Another guilty pleasure of mine is TOWIE. I know, I know, but I can't help it, it's just so addictive. Jessica Wright and her gorgeous boyfriend Ricky Rayment came to Meadow Hall as Jess had a pop-up boutique, 'With Love Jess xx' there. The clothes were so gorgeous and there was a dress which I'd had my eye on for a while, but I'm very proud of myself as I resisted temptation to buy it!

I seemed to go to the cinema a lot this Summer as well. I love going to the cinema, but I just don't love the price! Nevertheless, you can't beat a good evening there. I went to see Monsters University with my little friend Chloe, and honestly, 'children's films' are just as good, if not better than films classed for teenagers/adults! I also went to see One Direction's 'This Is Us' (which I recommend everyone to see, fan or not!) and Robbie William's 'Take the Crown Tour 2013 LIVE' which was amazing, even though it was on the big screen! Fingers crossed that I will manage to get tickets the next time he does a tour!

So, was your Summer as good as mine? And how much are you dreading going back to school or work after the long break? Because I know I am!
